Do same-type de/buffs override rather than stack?

Let's say I have Zabimaru. S/he increases my damage rate 10% on the whole team.

Then Dark Rukia uses her fury attack and increases damage rate by 12% on assaulters.

Now, does this override what was put on the assaulters previously, regardless of whether it is a higher or lower percentage, or is it now 22% damage rate? It was suggested by another on the forums that it is the former. Can someone please verify for me?

If it is indeed overriding, does that apply to all same-type de/buff effects?

same type of buffs are always cancel the previous same type of buff and takes it's place so D.rukia's buff will override Zabimaru's buff ... i think

yeah buff's don't stack, neither do debuffs, they just apply again from the actual ability itself

important note, look at wording of buffs,  some are similar (basicly boosting same thing) but called different things...
example:  Attack Bonus + Damage Bonus

Someone like Cute Orihime would then go well with Zabimaru.

No she wouldnt because there is a mistake in translation and she provides same buff as d. rukia does :-)
