Shinji Hirako (assaulter) worth it or not?

Hey guys, so I'm wondering if I buy or not Shinji Hirako(assaulter), didn't find any video with him nor relevant information. At the moment my formation is Sado(but will be exchanged by Sophisticated Rangiku), Main, Ichigo, Kirinji and Tav. Yoruchi. I'm currently level 73 and thinking in changing Ichigo for another assaulter.

So is it worth to exchange Ichigo for Hirako(assaulter) or not?

Thank you for your reply, but who should I aim for? I don't have much money to top-up, I was in doubt if I would purchase him or not because of the next event, since I just needed to top-up 2000g and get the points to get him without spending the actual gold.

So it would be almost a free purchase, but if he is really not worth I would rather to not top up now and wait for another partner with more or less the same value or offer.

if you want him, wait for ultra hero, top up $50, get him free.  DON'T pay for him, but if your asking who he's on par with, he's probably on par with a level 100 or 110 tavern partner.  blistering fast, slows opponents, protects your assaulters from control and such,  decent stats, AOE attacker with i think 130% damage.  He is leagues above gold ichi, and you won't look to replace him from the tavern for pvp. In fact prob shin Ulquiorra, maybe even Resurrection would be the next cheap upgrade...  of course CSB Byakuya, but that goes without saying.  TBH, in his price range of partners (Dark Rukia, Shinji Hirakko, Zabimaru Renji, Toshiro Hitsugya), he may be the worst you can get.  Dark Rukia is great for a 1-3-1 team, Toshi is a good cheap alternititive to Sohp (if you get him get hyorin, no questions)  but in my opinion, you will get the best return from zabimaru renji as for low VIP, he's boss in pve, and lets face it,  PVE is where 95% of us get our bread buttered. Other good pve assaulters for low VIPs are SWP Grimjaw, CSB Kenny (both of these can use ichigo's weapon, lol) in fact...  SWP Grim may be a better choice than shinji for both pve and pvp...   laceration is a beast, and he can bypass swp toshi with his fury regen, and for pve, (pan grim anyway) hits for 200% every round, has 20% natural damage rate, very good stats, and being he has use in pvp, you can leave him in all the time (that is a consideration to me anyway)...  Honestly...  I know you didn't ask, but what i would run...
PVP:
2-2-1 formation
Zanpacto: Hyorin/Kaze
Vang: Soph/Toshi/Tavern Shinji/Starrk (as you seem to want an offensive vang)
Assaulter: SWP Grim/Zabimaru Renji
Supports: Tavern Yourichi/Tavern Aizen, Tavern Momo/Tavern Harribel/Tavern Gin

PVE till wave 50 or later:
2-3-0 formation
Zanpacto: Zabimaru/Sogyo
Assaulters: SWP Grim, Zabimaru Renji
Supports: Tavern Rukia, Kirinji

after wave 50ish swap out Zabimaru Renji for your vanguard as Grim uses a different weapon and you will have a harder time to make a good switch there.
