Slots gear vs...

Any spirit infused gear that's better than the slots gear? (bloodslay, galaxy, jadesoul, skyreaver)  I know they are slightly better than the 130 spirit infused set, and also slightly better than the 150 non spirit infused set...  so i'm assuming they are on par with 140 spirit infused, and slightly worse than the 150 spirit infused sets?   Looking for any pics you may have to show how they stack up against level 140 or 150 spirit infused gear.

by slots set i mean the 100 slot set, forgot there even was a group of 90 sets

I would also like to see that. Planing to do a lv130 spirit forged for my VG, but would be nice to see a lv 140 aswell cuz high lv sets eat a loot of stars to spiritforge.
Ps: imo lv 130+ spiritforged sets are much better than lucky slot lv 90-100 sets. Only drawback is that you cant socket them, but it is not a problem if you plan to use it on VG.

the 130 set does have slightly better stats than the slots set, but the growth rate on the slots set does make it better, or that was the outcome i came to when i checked out pics of them side by side with someone else here on the forums...  plus the fact that you can get them much sooner and they are cheaper to upgrade, and take MUCH less work to acquire

lv130 spirit forged set have more than twice on defence and almost twice on attack base stat, 5% less dmg-rate but 7% immune and small agility bonus.

i've seen them both...  on the weapon between 130 ghost blade vs 100 Jadesoul weapon...
4100 bast attack on 130 set vs 3000 on Jadesoul set...  however 36 vs 42 growth rate...
at level 120 that should leave the stats at this... granted this is without the spirit infused bonus as i'm not 100% on those boosts (level 20 one)
130: 4100+4320=8420
Jadesoul:3000+5040=8040+5% bonus damage rate
on the weapons, Jadesoul out damages 130 spirit forged, and galaxy out damages Jadesoul

Armor:
130:1400+1440(level 120 * growth rate)=2840
Jadesoul:700+1680=2380  
the armor is slightly better here, but lets look at the vang set as that is the one made for best def...
Skyreaver:1000+1680=2680, +5500 extra stamina and a bonus 7% damage immune, making the skyreaver set better for defensive purposes (thus why it's the vang armor)

I could continue through the whole set, but i think you get where i'm going with this

the 130 set is a better rounded set yes, and for casual players probably the safer set, but if you work the slots sets right they start to over take the 130 set between level 110 and 120 because of more specific boosts in the right places and a better growth rate... granted I didn't account for the difference for the infusing of spirits from soul palace because i'm not 100% sure of the exact math there, but i'm sure the difference there is negligible...

so like I said before, by level 120, the 100 slots set IS better IMO than the 130 SI set (or at least on par with it and the slots set keeps getting better as you level it up) if you put them on the right partner, especially when you add to that point that you can't infuse the 130 set till level 135, it's more expensive to level up, and the amount of work needed from soul hunt is insane for a set of gear that close in power to the slots sets
one caviot i will give you, the 130 set gives better Agi boost, but only like 3k fully infused and leveled, which by level 135 (the earliest you can get the 130 set fully infused for 99% of people) 3k speed is nothing

Yeah got it now, never trought about growth-rate before. But i would still like to have a look at 140 one.

most def, the 130 set is so close to the slots, I'd have to guess the 140 set has to be better

Sorry, just checked it. Your right in theory - but your wrong in fact. I dont know how these stat stack, but a lv 110 spirit forged set lv 20 infused has better stats than lvl 90 lucky slot set.

lv 103 slot armor vs lv 98 spirit forged: 5822 vs 6512

lv 102 clock vs lv 102 spirit forged: 11543 vs 13489

lv 127 weapon vs lv 125 spirit forged: 24569 vs 24144 and so on..

Now considering lv 100 lucky slot set is a bit better than lv 90 while lv 130 spiritforged is much better than lv 110 spirit forged - i think lv 130 is better afterall. I think lv 100 slot is somewhere around lv 120 set, maybe a tad better.
Ps: i think it has to do with infusion, but not 100% sure.

I will compare spirit forged 140 set and the Cyclone set, the Jade set and Bloodyslay set are pretty much more attack focused versions of Cyclone with with less defense.


The spirit forged 140 gear has higher base stats than the Cyclone set. (on all equipment). Example: Darkrune sword +4200 atk. vs. Cyclone sword +2700 atk.

The 140 forge set has +3600 stamina vs. Cyclone set +3000 stamina, but the Cyclone set also has +7% Immune Rate. (Set bonus).

The 140 forge set has +1800 str/wis vs. Cyclone set +3000 str/wis. (Set bonus).

The 140 forge set has +8% Dmg Rate vs. Cyclone +14% Dmg Rate & +1500 Agillity. (Set bonus)


From this I think it's quite obvious that the Cyclone set and "slots" sets win. You could argue that the 140 forge set is better for defense but I am not sure about that.

Percent (%) > Base stats.

i'll buy that, still, i have 6 sets of slots armor (i know, don't judge, lol) so i'm not upgrading till i get to 140s lol
