It really isn't a big difference, when i upgraded the H Ichi the total bp increase wasn't that big either :p
About a 50-60k bp increase total...   You'd think it was more, but thats all you get for about a billion silver...

No, there wont be any huge difference. I've done Kisuke, Stark and Ichigo to phase 2 - they do not change much at all.

At phase 2 they become around mid-ss event partners stat-wise. Buf have inferior talents, stars and other stuff. The answer is simple: Base growth > growth rate.
