Would a 300$ top up get me anywhere on a new account? And topping up a fee hundred every week?

300$ is already a good amount, i spent a total of about 1100$ over more than a year, so a "few hundred per week" is a big spender, with that you will def be fine ^^

If I start in tomorrow's events, what should I get to start me off?

u would be better off starting in these events before they run out u top up 30k gold u get 30k again so thats 60k

If i were you i would wait till i could top up at least 20 or 30k up before i start so you could top up and get some free partners, but if i had to start tomorrow, then I would first of all get Shini agent and with that, ofc Kirinji
With the 50% rebate on the top-up you would get a total of 18.090 gold and after buying shinigami agent you would have 16.202 gold left.
After that, I would recommend leasing Raijin Yoru and Yhwach for a couple days till the next events come up and save the rest of the gold, cause there aren't really alot of good cheap partners in this event-set. (Ofcourse you could go all out and hire TSI too, but i don't think that would be necessary.)

Ofcourse if you want to you can look in the discount frenzy shop and refresh it a couple of times, i believe that some partners like Ichibe go as low as 10k gold over there.

Oh yea, you will get alot of points in the Mysterious puzzle event, in my opinion you should spend those on Hogu enchance talismans and enchance some higher tier treasures later in the game. (Tier 11+)

I just wanna start again, aha. I mean. Even if I top up the 300 now, a few weeks from,now I could top up another 1200$-1500$ and get whatever else I could possibly need. Especially if I top up in good events. If I get 1st in the ultimate rebate. I could get hasch, yhwach, yoru, human koma, and may be even Ryujin jakka.

Thinking of doing 1000$ this set of events, id have 60k gold. I'd be able to get komamura free if I spend gold, and id have a lot of hogu inhance talismans. And I could buy oetsu and yhwach, and get shini agent and get kenji as well. Then top up at a later date to get a better zanpakuto and maybe hasch/yoruichi

Sounds like a good idea^^

If you plan on topping up that much i would recommend getting at least a couple t12 hogu's from the dark shop^^
