those are like universal water, you can use it for any spirit star map.
so say you need 30 for espada #4 spirit star 1, you have 31 #4 hollow soul, so when u use it, you will have just 1 #4 hollow soul left.

next you need 60 for espada #4 spirit star 2, you have only 1 #4 hollow soul, but you have 57 hogyoku hollow soul, so you can use them together, iit will total upto 58, so you just need two more #4 hollow soul.

next day you will get 10 free #4 hollow soul, so your total #4 hollow soul will be 11, and hogyoku hollow soul 57. hence u can use them for #4 spirit star 2, it will consure your #4 hollow soul first ie 11 and the rest it will take from hogyoku hollow soul ie 49, you will be left with 8 hogyoku hollow soul.
