That is translation problem. Apparently, it was misplaced with Kazeshini.

That was a bug with Kazeshini. It's not out, nor are any of the achievement zans till the achievement page is released. Well, if/when it is, if ever.

So - it seems that the ultimate free zanpakutous are:

- Kazeshini (if you focus on raw damage, and/or want to kill assaulters before vanguards);
- Tenken (if you want a strong vanguard, and focus on defense); side note - this would be great with yachiru if the dodge cap was higher than 90%...
- Zabimaru (for a more balanced dmg/defense approach).

As for the VIP zanpakutous:

- Suzumebachi seems gimmicky, useful if you want to disrupt the enemy's supports;
- Hozukimaru is very decent for mid-high tier, focusing on buffing your assaulters;
- Sode no Shirayuki is for speed-based strategies;
- Hyorinmaru is the ultimate defensive/vanguard-focused Zanpakutou;
- Sogyo no Kotowari is a high-tier allrounder with a focus on damage dealing;
- Zangetsu and Muramasa are the god-tier zanpakutous; one focuses on assaulter buffs, the other on support buffs, and Muramasa is a bit stronger overall.

Half of those you mentioned as VIP zanpakutou, are only available through events like Christmas event, ect.

You listed the lower P2P zanpakutou with gold value, do you have to pay for them, or are they like achievments for spending that much gold or something?
Also i'm pretty sure Sogyo is only available on Christmas..

So basically, most of 'em are up for Gold on certain specific times as the game progresses? Or some of them become permanent releases corresponding to its cash shop value?

You need to pay, in order to get them.
The prices I listed is based on CN version's cash event.

Normally, some of the P2P zanpakuto will be available in festival's event (these events doesn't give zanpakuto totally free) before they were put into cash event.
In Sogyo's case, it will appear in New Year event first. But after the event ended, Sogyo will be available in cash event.
