I invested some gold and silver for buying cyclone, forge into aquarius set and now i want to make firelord set. The thing is as I see from my +70 boots spirit infused i get some basic shit...what's the problem, I mean how should I advance without losing my work for like 1 week? Seriously forging from lvl 50-70 had me spending even gold to buy silver cards so i really need some help with this. I taught ultimate equipment was an investition as can be advanced to firelord-> dark set etc.. Help please.

Okay done, it was damn hard to read. So the future gear of which you're about to advance from the preview in the advance tab is all plain (no socket, no infuse, to fortification etc... completely clean), it's normal, everything from the gear will be transfered to the advanced gear (except of course the refine, you have to redo everytime you advance).
There was another thread with a simpler question.

A picture (for better understanding I hope), there I need a weapon of choice and 120 of the same material to "advance" the weapon, the preview is all plain but everything from the old weapon will be transferred, like in Bleach, worry not.

an addition the higher ur set more expensive to fortify unless u already lvl 159 then u can fortify when still aquaria

Nope, you keep the all your work you did on the previous gear, no need to fortify again.

to conoclude : when u are lvl60 aquiaria to be safe : before starting upgrading ur gear

full infuse it (buy a lvl50 protection stone) all pieces are concerned

Full socket it  (Seireitei attak is a good way to farm socket stones)

Also try to lvl it max and refine it at first the best u can

When u do all this; upgrade the shiit out of it
