I have Shinigami Agent...but I'm 3 week at max into the game so a vanguard that usually costs 20, 30k to buy at 10k gold is decent for me.

Why waste gold when you can do karakura town event to get him FREE?? Yeah you have to rent him for some time now but it'd be worth it to save your gold for better partners and get a red partner for free. Yeah it will take some time but invest your gold into something you wont regret at all seeing how if you save up there will be better more choices for you.

if you sign in and collect candy for 9 days you can use that 9 candy to rent him for a few days. And if you decide to top up you can get more candies to use to make his rent last longer till the event comes back around and when he gets to a certain amount you are comfortable with you can use gold to finish the rent.

Rent to own don't buy to own him.
