Bazz-b is a good damage dealer but he has no inmunity against stun/control.
Bankai Urahara boosts(30%) Muken Aizen and has some great improvements on a random partner.
Sexy Kukaku is a great vanguard.
And Raijin Yoruichi boosts(35%) Yhwach, deals chaos on 3 random enemies and improves your team's speed.
Then, why do people vote for katen if you can get tensa or kyoka being a VIP0 player?

60% of CoMs are done with Katen, because of the guaranteed crit and insane damage she offers to the partner fortification thing (where they must deals 30% of the damage) to pass the stage.

The team's damage with Kyoka could be comparable to Katen if she wasn't bugged, however Katen deals much more damage if you an ATK buffer behind (like Hikifune) already.

Tensa well he is far inferior to Kyoka, the only pro with him is he gives around 2% more speed to the assaulters, otherwise Kyoka is a lot more rounded.

So gotta skip Tensa and get Katen "just in case" even if you plan to get Kyoka eventually.
