BTW, if the next event is UBP, are the crystal requirements the same here and there?

The crystal requirments were the same for the previous UBP's however the boxrewards weren't...
But you never know, they might change a lil bit here and there

its a event called zodiac (remember where unohana "kenpachi" first image was shown in forum), is that event, the other is the tasks event with gold top up in the end to receive certain reward.
