If it's your first event partner, go for HVI with eyes closed. You don't need BWB. In my eyes Bloodwar Byakuya is a must only if you have a tier 1 partners already. He provides strength to your assaulters but if you don't have assaulters then he's wasted potentional. I was also in a similar position in the past but still went for HVI and don't regret it one bit.. Save yourself these 10 points and go for a T13 hogu along with hellverse.

One more thing to keep in mind: HVI's bonds are all easily obtainable and as you probably already know he doesn't need T1. Use these fury points on another partner of yours.

Take it from someone who got HVI this past Christmas, he's worth it. If build correctly he can one-shot most in the first round.

HVI IS GOOD but if you got muken and already Bwb then go for sternritter Uryuu.
