I understand your point of pushing new partners.
But this is as it is even if they lower the stat ...
Combo rate is already on 1 unit of each formation at present. However, combo doesn't trigger when someone is frozen or stunned, so it's not really necessary.
For whatever reason, they will not adjust the HP. It's likely for a similar reason to why they will not adjust Evil Spirit HP.
Leaving Void as it was previously also limits what partners you could use if freeze did not work. It's not the best solution either. When you can lower the Void formations' defenses with debuffs, it just requires higher defense to counteract the possibility, hence why we had defense as high as 3 million to begin with. Eliminating debuffs, the strategy becomes solely how you buff your team to do damage, which is more manageable than the previous solution. If they lower Void ATK, that allows more room for using partners that will buff or protect your team.
I would argue Void Region is an event that was created to benefit the strongest players the most and give them a challenge that the game does not have for them. It gives them something to work or spend more money on. There is otherwise no reason to become strong outside of PvP in this game. PvE is generally a joke at that level. A lot of people may disagree, but that's how the event has always been presented by the Chinese developers. On top of that, China has much higher standards for what is a strong formation, and the Chinese developers have highest priority for what works in China, evidenced by some of their recent partners that few in US/EU would care about. This is also why they had no problem leaving speed at 500,000 on one Void partner. They will adjust stats and mechanisms and create in the way they know the game through their own experiences, not necessarily our own. If people aren't strong enough, their solution is to top-up. |
