I don't know if there is another thread on this but i will ask anyway.

Is it possiblie to do modify of partners that are on rent?? I tried to do the modify cultivation but it says i cannot challenge.
Is it because i haven't gotten him as a partner yet??

of course you can still do modification on a partner, even when they are on rent and expired. I just tried it for you.

It shows the first stage purple and the rest not done. Tried doing it but says i cannot challange but i got 13 of his frags

I counted and you can only do 5 different character stages a day. If you would like to modify Isshin, you must stop modifying another partner. And yes, you can modify expired partners.

I think it might also depend on whether or not you have already passed modification stages. I think when you have a rented partner that has expired you might not be able to progress until you re-rent them but you are still able to use the one-click cultivate up to where you have gotten it in the past. It's been awhile since I have been there so don't quote me on it but it seems vaguely familiar

nah, I tried it for him on a partner that's expired too, I can still do mod on him.

he already said he completed the first stage.... so that's mean he has enough chances to go for him...

If he really did finish the first stage, then he should be able to continue onto the next isshin stages. You can only modify 5 different chars each day. Finishing just 1 of the 15(15 in total per char i think?) stages for one char consumes 1 out of the 5 chances you get each day. I believe he did the stages for 5 other chars, and couldn't do isshins because of it.
