Well, to be honest I'd prefer the prices to lower. The reason why the charge more than the chinese ...
Sorry but... Charging more because they have to translate everything?? Lol... Its good that this statement was made by a user and not a staff member as an "excuse" for charging more, because its utterly bullshit!
IF they would relate their prices to the actual work that has to be done, the prices here would have to be WAY lower compared to the chinese version. Because the guys here dont even have to code anything, translating is basically the ONLY thing the have to do on their own.... That being a reason why they charge more... No... definately not a legit one.
They dont have to do anything, they get the game from the chinese developer, they get the updates from the chinese.... they get the events from the Chinese... Basically everything is already done, no real programming going on here. Event... Updates... New characters... Features... new Content.. Everything this game gets, is coded in China by the developer, not by gogames guys.
I dont know if therr will be Events in the future that have never been in the chinese Version, if so, then those are originally coded here. But until now the only thing for them to do is translate the stuff they get from China, thats it. No game development done, just translating and the whole administrative stuff, Servers and so on. But definately not more work then the chinese are doing, so if a relation to the work done and the prices would exist, the prices had to be way lower here than they are in China.
Dont get me wrong, I am not saying thats how it should be... that would actually probably destroy the game. Chinese people would leave the original to play the english one, because its cheaper, no/less money making for the developer, so the game wont be developed any further and thats it... end of Story... Dead.
I am just saying, having to translate the stuff IS NOT anywhere near a valid reason or "excuse" to justify higher Prices.
Actually, any discussion about the prices arent helping us anyway, because the Prices wont Change.
They used those prices on many other games that came from China and were published in the western world... unlimited ninja, naruto saga, Anime ninja, Anime pirates, naruto Spirit and probably many many more i have never even heard of. All those games do have the same pricings. The amount of gold you get per $ is the same in all of them (actually im not too sure if they are EXACTLY the same, because i only played like 2 (including bleach) of those games but yeah^^) and some of the games are running profitable for quite a bit of time now, so their pricings have somewhat proven successful.
We can talk about it all we want... It just wont change anything, they arent going to just lower their prices because some People ask them to do so...
Look at all those VIP (7)/8/9/10 Thousands of $... You are a company now... would you lower your prices? No... getting thousands of Dollars, so why would you?? Its running smooth. |

Just takes time to translate everything over from the Chinese version.
