He ran as fast as he could to the chest, opened it obtained the blade and managed to barley escape with his wounds...

Carasdir parried one of the strikes with his blade. Another bandit was coming from his right, he immediately broke off from his current opponent and decapitated the bandit charging from his right. He then turned to face the other two...
