There is three phases to the game

Start (below 70), Middle (after 70), End (around max level)

You are not even into the middle phase of the game. Therefore I would advise you to throw away all thoughts of countering an opponents setup and go for straight growth damage build for events. Its best not to think of building your team for another person other than yourself rather than a team that u are stuck with for another person
