I'm not using a VG atm, I rely on shinso gin speed/dmg so I don't know if he will be better than ...

Yea it really depends on your formation. I myself rely too much on support and I will in the future (T1 HMA Aizen)
Zangetsu is probably the best choice since it still gives a decent amount of damage for assaulters compared to Muramasa.

..... well some of the other people who will/might get him in this event are Sroo, Wis, Yagami(not sure tho) , Cyra, Curls88 .... one things for sure he is the best zan for hollow soul map .... and his skill animation is so damn cool @.@
