if you spend 8k coupons a day instead of 35k instantly, you will receive the "rebate coupons" which is about 2,1k for every 8k you spend (works 1 time a day) so if you do 8k X 5= 10,5k coupons in return + 40k spent (all the rewards in the event) and  you'd end up with about 8k-10k spare coupons by the end of the event
