Well if you get your ass destroyed by such a tanky VG.. it means your no match for your opponent.
There are tons of strategies on how to win vs a Supertank guy... as soon as you can survive 1block hit, you're set. (which isn't that diff)

As for

they will definitely lose a lot of profit in terms of making money.

How is that so? they would just topup more to have a stronger VG than their opponent

you ignore the fact that their HP is skyrocket and their unimaginable defences + HP recovery from enhance stones and their VG recovery skills. you can survive 1 block hit, but you cant even do DECENT damage on him, he will only slowly wear you down.

How? Because they can only focus on upgrading 1 partner instead of all 5 at once. Which one makes more profit? Upgrading VG only? or Upgrading the whole team as a whole?

well a lot of things can be countered... even very OP VG...

it all depends on the opponent...

but no doubt an OP VG is damm hard to bring down...

As for who to spend on, just make your characters strong enough to last 1 block attack and give your main enough power to wipe out his 4other chars
(shouldn't be hard since most VG stackers, don't got anything left for their other characters)

Therefore imo this 3man team wil be enough to deal with a VG stacker:
unuhona + Main + Nozashiri ken

List of partners to look into:

- Rukia (fury gain)*
- Uruhara (fury gain)
- Sexy yoru (fury gain)
- Shinso gin (fury gain)

- CSB kenpachi (break def 75%)

- Unuhona (healer --> block is useless now)

- Baragan (poision dot)
- Ulquiorra (fire dot)

*If u got 2 fury regen partners you can even use this strat with Shin SHura Kenpachi VG + Give those characters 0Hit stones --> you do 0dmg but you take 0 dmg, their only purpose is to give fury
Zanpakuto: Ashisogi Jizo, in case you do 0 dmg, another poision dot (doesn't stack with baragan I think)

Not if that VG is T1 and fastest in the team and whipe out your supporters... and knock all your supporters off the team. It's not just the block that you need to withstand, but also his skills... Like Starrk.

If you can't figure something out with the tips I gave you, you aren't meant to defeat your opponent.
Anyway... every formation has it strengths and weaknesses..

This is how I've beaten a player who is stronger than me... by using Unuhona (as you can tell her VG could 2shot me.. even if it's not stark, Imagine If I would've used Nozashiri kenpachi then --> I woudl've controlled her VG aswell)
