Merge servers and stop making new ones?
Hmm... there is a number of problems with that..
Lets say th ...
I don't really agree that they need to be that nit-picky about merging servers.
1. If they merge servers that started around the same time, it minimizes the advantage 1 server has over another due to play time. For instance, say there are 3 servers to examine. Server F had an average of 300k bp for top 30, server Y had an average of 365k, and server U had an average of 305k bp. Server Y started 3 days after server F started, but server U started 2 weeks after server F started. It would be more fair for server F and Y to merge since they both had the opportunity to play the same amount of time. It wouldn't be fair to merger servers F and U together, even tho they have around the same BP's since server F had a 2 week advantage on them.
2. I see no reason why top 2 servers whose top 3's are in the same clan can't merge together. Each individual server doesn't have a harmonious balance between the 3 clans. Some servers have 1 clan that is stacked and dominate the top 10.
3. I agree they shouldn't merge 2 servers that are new, new servers still have a lot of players on it, and hadn't had the chance to grow individually as a server like the older servers have. I doubt the publishers have any intention on doing this since they want individual servers to first spend cash on fight among themselves, then after that cools down, make the top rankers spend even more competing against the new players that merged with them, keeps players throwing money at the screen.
4. People leave servers anyways, and if they want to set themselves up for the same thing happening to them on their newer server, then that is their call.
5. Again, I don't see the point in trying to balance servers based on how powerful one particular clan is compared to another. They aren't balanced now as it is.
6. Having two #1's in the same clan is just like having top 2 in a server in the same clan.
7. Again u are focused way too much on trying to balance the clans, which isn't necessary. In the servers I have seen, none of them have a perfect balance where all 3 clans are in a stalemate. There is usually 1 OP vip that dominates everyone with 2-5 racing against each other.
In a perfect world it would be nice to have all 3 clans balanced on a server, but this is just a p2w browser game and whoever has the deepest pockets will rule. If this were a normal mmo where it would be base on experience and skill, then maybe balance would matter.
8. What server do you come from where ur ps isn't one sided? Usually the defensive team has a big advantage for awhile until the fireballs get too many levels. As for gw, it's not like it matters about clan as same clans can fight each other, the game at least tries to balance gw out some.
9. All your concerns are just about balancing BP's and clan power when it really doesn't matter, especially with clans. The only thing I can think of is getting better rewards at the end of Ryoka attack? Since that is the only event that is structured on clan placement instead of guild or individual player rankings.
10. I don't think they meant to completely stop making new servers, just they don't need a new server coming out every other day while the old servers have very few players in them. They want the company to focus working on merging first, then creating new servers second.
