lost hogyoku

i had 3 flawless high level hogyoko on my byakuya , when i exchanged gear with another char, they suddenly are no longer there and they not on the other char either

That might be a bug, I had a similar problem but it worked fine after a certain time.

you need to exchange again items with that char and dequip him and then you can exchange and put your hogu back, sry for my english

How were you able to exchange in the first place?

You get that error "wrong hogyoku tab", when your partners don't have the same amount of hogyoku slots unlocked, which is due to their levels.

What Chkval said is true plus it could be disappeared or invisible due to you putting hogyoku on a slot that when you exchanged equipment, your other character hadn't unlocked that slot yet, even if you had 4 hogyoku and your partner 4 hogyoku.  If you put it on a slot that your other partner hasn't unlocked yet, even if it's the same amount of hogyokus, it will disappear or be invisible
