Starrk is an Atk all VG, who probably calculates his own defense based on a full team that its up against, when his actual defenses are only being calculated by YOUR main. Between your main and him, he HAS to do *some* kinda damage, or you wouldn't stand a chance.... And I THINK that's the reason anyone would even consider using a two man team...
Not really saying it any kind of way. Just conjecture on my part.
Either way, this is going to change the way I build my main from this point, too. If I can just win by pumping all my gold, stones, hogus, hogyokus exp, hollow soul map points, into my main character, I can win with just some agi stones in all my supporters from now on

Yes that's totally possible but you have to look at the formations of the people you fight.
Having fast support lets you win most of the fights, unless they focus on defense which rarely ever happens haha. So ya.. fast supp ftw
