id just wish they made theyr goddamn user interface so that it streches by the screen and not leave text out from left side... Its really bad issue same as you on laptop sometimes you cant even push skip battle or type anything in your chatbox cos the grey banner under blocks them you have to turn your laptop/tablet to make it possible..
Firstly you have to make sure you ONLY use Ikkaku and main.
The requirements for the 2nd Bond state that HP should NOT be less than 70% of total HP. I take that to be Ikkaku's HP>70%*total HP, when the battle is done/#.
I tried it by removing everything that gave health to main char and giving my vanguards gear to Ikakku. I calculated how much 70% of the total HP would be ((ikkaku hp + main hp)*0.7) and that came to 161k something for me. After some battles Ikkaku was left with 161k + a bit more than the 70% I calculated, yet I still did not get the bond... I assume the number 70% is wrong or that the way it calculates it is not exact... OR that I'm dumb and made a mistake.

It must be wrong or something. only main and ikkaku were in my formation, no zampaktou nothing else. My hp stayed at around 90% for main and ikkaku. Yet still, nothing. I was able to get 1st and 3rd bond with same formation but 2nd bond, doesn't work.
I have made a post about this on the bug forums, since I too have the same issue.
Received first & third bond, due to me trying other stages to check wether or not I cud unlock second.
So far however, no luck.
And its kind of a bummer since we are talking about Combo rating :O
