Trick to plaeying Jaken at Tavern?

Every time I play Jaken, I always lose usualy on the first try why I do purples, and second on blues.

is it like a fixed thing where it's impossible to get 3 in a row win or do you just need a whole LOT of luck?  

I dont have much gold or the other thing, so I cant waste em on Jaken just to get a actual win.

the trick is gut feelings. Look at your opponent and predict his next moves. Most of the time you'll fail, but its good to try. lol JKJKJK (THERES NO TRICKES)

Nah the trick is the one you are absolutely SURE you are gonna pick, dont pick it pick the one on the left
