Try beating some-one 10 levels higher then you with higher tier gear and zanpakuto, that is the main reason level is very important, second most important after 5 partners is silver and a close 3rd is souls which is the reason why I ask for things to give silver + something else as well like they do with vitality

The only levels that matter are the "new tier" levels (70,80,90,100,110 ect) due to be able to get stronger partners. The only other levels that truly better are every 5 past those (75,85,95,105,115 ect) due to being able to do the different Palace Division to aquire spirit water to spirit infuse that tiers gear. Tier gear is about useless if your previous tier is all +20 spirit infused, ie: lvl 80 spirit forged red gear mostly +20 spirit infused is far far better than lvl 90 freshly spirit forged red gear, even if it's spirit forged 5-10 levels. Around spirit infuse lvl 12-13 or so is when it surpasses +20 spirit infused gear of the previous tier.

Then comes the ultimate gear, which take the 80 ultimate set for example, at full +20 spirit infused, it's equal to if not a tad bit better than even +20 spirit infused spirit forged lvl 90 red gear, AKA you won't be replacing it till level 100, and even then you'd need to get lvl 105 to start spirit forging THAT gear to make it better. In theory, anyone who bought the lvl 90 ultimate sets will be set on gear for the rest of the game once 95 and can fully spirit infuse it, due to no real content released yet past lvl 120 (Palaces are all locked past that point ect, though I've been told by the time that happens things might be unlocked, they are expecting it to take 2-3 months to do a level say 119 to 120, which I find REALLY far fetched when At 90 I'm still getting a level every day and a half to two days)

So all in all, if played and equipped right, levels aren't ALL that important except those I mention above. Sure they give tiny stat boosts and what not, but preparing your partners and gear correctly is a bigger advantage than out leveling someone 8 levels or so. I've seen many times where someone 10 levels + can still beat that higher level just due to partner, skill, and equipment set up.

no matter how much you boost your BP etc. there is ALWAYS a cut off point on how much higher an enemy can be that you can't beat them. no offence but that point is completely invalid. in the end no matter what your level is your BP will always be the thing that wins. even if they have better gear if they have a lower BP (in excess of 500-1000+) then it is extremely unlikely that the higher BP will lose wether they are 1 level higher or 3 levels lower. at the end of the day when you reach maximum level the person that spent there time to raise there BP the most they can each level will be the person that has less work cut out for them before they get top place in BP and obviously al of the events etc.

I see where you're coming from and I agree levelling is important but there's the play style where you level up first then make your BP and the play style where you make your BP and then level. either way they're both even with each other until end game.

I agree with the rest of what you're saying though. zanpakuto's are important for boosts and extra damage but once you get into the higher levels again. there is a cut off level for zanpakuto's where you can't get a stronger 1 and then all you can do is build your raitsu and level your zanpakuto as much as you can.

obviously in the future this will change and more zankpakuto's will be added for higher levels so it will change it all a lot but at this point what I said stands

Some truth to that as well but again, as with levels, BP is not everything either. It depends on partner set up, skills used, gear, and in general whoever has the faster Main and Yoruichi. Even then, if a player has 100% fury stones, he can be 50k BP lower than you and still win, as if he don't one shot your team in round 1 with 10th skill, he's more than likely killed your supports, and chunked your entire team to critical levels of HP.

We got a guy on my server who is 80k BP behind our #2/3 guys, but due to random luck with his Harribel and Yoruichi, he can still win fights against those 2, on luck of stuns alone. Never count out a strong controller team, with high agility.

But there is a limit, more than likely, no matter what stones/setup they got, someone is not going to beat someone 100k+ BP ahead of them. Just to strong of a power gap in stats. But I can see it more than possible if done right for someone 20-30k BP behind someone to still handle that higher person without to many issues, IF BUILT RIGHT.

Wrong. I've been beaten time and time again by people lower bp then me just because they have 5 sets of gold gear were I am still on lv 40 gear, you know why I know its the level? as soon as I hit lv 60 I am rank 3 again, when they hit lv 70, I am rank 6. * also I am rank 3 in arena and my bp is only rank 7 so another reason why bp isn't the factor also I know servers where people 120k bp beats a 140-150k bp person * if it was only bp.. this wouldn't ever happen.

but yes I have seen these kinds of fights happen before but yeah there will always be a cut off point. even still there is still a higher chance that higher BP will win purely because they can put out more damage. I agree completely that you need to be set up right. obviously though if you combine both the setup and boosting your BP like I do then you're most likely going to do better then 50K higher kills imo...

That's probably a typo at the end but if they are 50 levels higher, well that's different than 5-10 If they are 50 levels higher well your just screwed

yeah haha sorry I meant to put K or BP but I was thinking about levels when I wrote it XD soz
