So I guess Ill get Isshin. So could some one explain how the rent works? So say I get him for a week, does that mean his buy goes down by that much? If not is it just better to buy them all in one go?

Renting is kinda pointless.
It's probably best to buy him in one go.

how? you can rent over time whenever you're able to top up, and he gets cheaper eveytime you do it :/

My main concern is if its cheaper to buy him in one go or if it cost the same to rent him?

IF you rent him now and continue to do so over a course of time its gonna be the same price as if you buy him up front. Its just if you can afford to pay the full price up front or if can pay down some money on him over time ^^. Think of it as hire purchase without the gay interest D:
