Eeehhh, it's not so bad. Honestly shin gin's a great partner to have in general lol. And he'll definitely be nice to have in pve instead of urahara. But yeah I definitely suggest using isshin to give your partners t1 for pvp. Isshin's a pretty fast partner too and he completely shuts down the enemy assaulter line. Senbon was definitely a good choice as long as you don't get all hung up on wanting shin gin to give t1.

You know what. I'm going to continue down the shinso gin path until I get Isshin's evolution up to the point where he gains some initial fury so that I don't have to try to enchant his weapon with psychic

No that's stupid too. Damn it I'm an idiot.

Oh well shinso was basically for free.

I'm just going to go full isshin now and may god have mercy on my soul.

Lol, well the nice thing is once you do get Isshin's evo the point where you can put fewer fury stones on him, it'll make it easier for you to T1 shin gin as well. I know that's a bit down the road, but believe me eventually having both of them T1 will be awesome.
