Because Hyorinmaru gives the best speed to supporter aside from Muramasa and Tensa Zangetsu, and you don't have either of them from what you said. B rukia's best attribute is by far her speed, so you'll want to take advantage of that.

I can't fortify Hyorinmaru for speed though.. While i could do it easily with Zangetsu and it only has 3% less speed. Unless fortify stats are completely useless and you won't even notice the difference.

Well the problem with zangetsu is he also gives 5% less reiatsu bonus. That's a huge amount.

And as for the fortify, Zangetsu at level 100 fortify will give 17k speed. I know that's a lot, but that will take years to get. I have tensa at fortify level 20, and it already takes 104 per level. So for now just assume you'll only get about 3k speed out of fortify any time soon lol.
