eventually you will have to do events because later on it wall take crazy amounts of exp to level up so you better be prepared when that time comes a vanguard can always wait on the other hand kenpachi will like double the amount of silver and exp you gain "IF" you do events and with that it will be MUCH faster to get a vanguard AND other characters win-win in both silver and exp if you are a low lvl vip
