If you aren't doing Evo and you have any good partners, you're foolish.  Nothing gives more bang for the buck for an end-game partner.

If you don't have good partner, save for ubp, then use for evo and sereitei attack.

if i have mugetsu...and isshin.. but i dont have good support yet.. should i save for ubp? or i use them for evo?

if you are below level 90 save for SA and after doing it skip the next SA and work on your evo repeat this til you hit level 90
if you are above level 90 save 9k vit for ubp and spend the rest on either evo or keep saving for SA (without spending the 9k that you have)
if you are below level 50 forget about this shit and spend it on quests

If you have Mugetsu and haven't spent every spare vit evo'ing him..... I can't even imagine what you're thinking.

I completely disagree with saving for UBP unless you are completely F2P.  If you can afford any decent characters like Sexy Yoru or even Isshin ($5/week on lease) then UBP is not worth losing 120+ vit/day for.

Glad i came across this thread, is it worth evoing kisuke? had to put evoing isshin and shinso on pause if not they will outspeed kisuke and not get T1
