maybe i should mention that ... maths is NOT my strength point before we start going Einstein here -.-
anyway this is hard to understand we have evo/pet/reiatsu/equipment bonus and all and what confuses me is both toshiro and shunsui have hesame agi GR 2.9 but while shunsui is in my formation when i put level 4 agi stone on him he gets like 620 spd while toshiro who is not in my formation when i put the same stone on him he gets 240 spd or something .... don't know what that really means but at this rate it is impossible to figure out the true value of each 1 point of agi/str/wis/sta we have no idea how the system works or if reiatsu effects agi/wis/-/- but without showing up in the partner information ...... hope you got what i mean because i my self have no idea what am talking about xD

Remember there is an "natural growth rate" as well. When it says XXX naturally has higher agility by a certain % it raises the stats invisibly. It is pretty frustrating.... I am good at math and even I gave up trying to figure out the minute details of stat gains. (though, I have been quite busy and diversified in gaming)
From what I've seen growth rates only have an effect on how much of each stat they gain upon leveling up. I don't know how the numbers actually work but they don't appear to affect your stat gains from any equip-ables of any sort.
Also they are rather significant as far as how much they give. My B rukia is 9 levels lower than another guy's Mugetsu and they have all the same gear on except his is higher leveled. He also has about 8 reiatsu levels over me. But my B Rukia is still faster thanks to her growth rate.
