Discount Frenzy rant.

To me this event looks really terrible unless I am missing something, I mean how is shingami Urahara a good deal at 5.6k gold when you can get him in ultimate hero for 4k gold and you get to keep the gold.  They have a level 80 weapon set for 1.8k gold but I could get it and two universal socket stones plus other rewards in treasure box for 2k gold, I just don't get it.  What are your guys thoughts on it?
Edit:  I forgot to add the shit reward for being over vip 5, which I feel is important to mention.

Some events have been extremely discounted while others are still expensive. For example you can get Shini. Urahara/ Shini. Yoruichi for 12k gold from that one event, but now Ultimate Hero it's only 4k. This event seems pretty garbo.

Yea man I just don't get gogames thinking, I seen this event and kind of had my hopes up to maybe get something good like level 100 equipment, but this event seems to be really disappointing.

Hmm, sexy yoruichi just showed up for 4.8k gold now that is a good offer, maybe I will get something good from this event after all.

wrong you can get her for as little as 3k or so gold from reio event

Yea I am looking at the event again and she is now at 7.8k gold, so you have to depend on luck to get a good discount.  I am going to have to do some math for the next reio event and see if I can get a good zanpaktou, I plan to get the level 100 set so I might as well see how much more gold it would take to get a zanpaktou or character.

if you go for shinso or kenny unohana which is 60 tokens
hyorinmaru+sogyo are free if you stop doing the outo wins after the partner tokens
its a matter of luck but most the time if you keep picking what has been wining you outo wins you keep geting zanpaktou tokens for free
so youd basically have 60 free tries etc..

Maybe I wont go as far as the characters and might just see what the zanpaktou would cost.  I have 7k gold at the minute and I would top up a few thousand more if that is what it would take to also get a character.  I was going to wait for ubp and I might still do that, I will maybe give it one more shot and if there is nothing I want then I will just get a character from reio.

calling this event "good" only applies to the expensive items i guess (10k+)

shinso/ kenny unohana is about 12-13k gold in reio and if you do that u can have luck with the zan instead of blowing more gold on zanpaktou outo wins
