Cannot Challenge Sign-In Event Ichigo

I have tried for two days to do the cultivation dojo on the gold Ichigo from the 7 day sign in. However, when I try, it says I can't challenge him. He is in my formation, and I could challenge his dojo the first two days I had him. Now it won't let me, but I can challenge my other partners. Does anyone know how to fix this?

you can only challange 5 or 6 different partners a day.  forget how many, but it sounds like your out of chances

it is 5 challenge per day you need to spend gold or coupon to buy 1 extra challenge

Ah, I see now. I miscounted, thought he was 5. Thanks for the help.
