Do you need counter on your Van??

Hi  i was just wondering if you really need counter on your van. Does it kick in the extra turn for your team?? If you had no counter on your van would you not get any Extra turns??

Counter prevents enemy team from scoring criticals on your VG
if they crit you they gain 100 fury bonus instantly so you definitely want 90% counter rate
The extra turn for your team is based on combo rate which some partners have as a talent although it is a very slight chance unless you use isshin for 100% combo on your assaulter line.

if you want combo rates some partners have per say 8% combo rates etc.. + EVO comborates you can get

an absolute must, unless you prefer your VG  dying extremely fast and enemies hitting for 150% damage on their skill instead of normal skill damage.
