I hate Janken.
The game feels rigged and almost entirely out of my control. However, the worst part is that to a small extent it "feels" like there is a "right" strategy to playing it (which makes me angry when I lose where I wouldn't be if it were 100% RNG). For instance, paper against Yasatora Sado seems to rarely lose. That said, from what I've read so far as long as you are doing manual Janken it doesn't sound like I can significantly improve my odds. Has anyone tested if there is a correct way to play the game to improve my chances? One of the major guides says that opponents can sometimes be beaten with the thing that would have beat you in the previous hand. However, in my experience that never seems to work with Kaien Shiba.
In the long term might I do just as well always picking the same thing (i.e. scissors every time)? Or is there a better way?
