Strategy to beat tanky VG?

Hi all, first time poster, be gentle

Aside form getting stronger which I suppose we are all trying to do (some like myself a little less successfully), are there any strategies or areas I should focus on to defeat opponents with incredibly strong VGs?


Currently in CSB I am up against a Sophisticated Rengiku that I simply cannot defeat. I wipe the rest of the team and am left with this monster every time.
I cannot use another skill besides 10 as they have a Shinso Gin that wrecks me if I do not first round him.

My formation is:
VG - H. Ichigo
Ass - Main, Isshin and Sexy Yoruichi
Supp - Urahara

Should I focus my stones onto 1 or 2 damage dealers as I fear this is why I cannot break her defense.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

switch to any stunner you might stun her/ reduce her fury and you could win, switch out the char you need less and go for gin or Aizen

Hm... I think the best solution for you would be a 2nd supporter, because you currently have 4 STR chars and cant switch VG for Assault for PvE and Kisuke isn't that much of a dmg dealer at that level.

Obvious suggestion atm is Tenjiro... even with bad stones his DoT would most likely do the job.

I picked up the new Red Supporter from Shingami Agent and see he has a chance to Ignite. Will try raising him up and giving it a go.
