Read the stats on the 2 vanguards and you decide which you'd prefer, personally I'd far rather TSI, over Ichibe, but for the price, Ichibe is better, but overall TSI is the better vanguard. Read one anothers skills compare them to one another nice and hard, to bloody work. TSI is a better dmg oriented vanguard between the 2, with Ichibe just being a brick wall, but being this game is like UN, or SD gundam by joyfun, 1 Brick wall won't completely end the match, if your formation is faster and has more dmg, you win that's just default, unless you have some horrible luck regarding hit rate which is still luck regardless, even a high hit rate you could still miss an attack in theory.

tsi would be the best if he didnt do 5 dmg with blocks and normal hits

It's not so much his normal hit I look at, I look at the overall skill of the partners, Ichibe's kit is more defensive apart from his str growth rate being fairly high for a vanguard, TSI's kit is fairly offensive apart from his str growth rate being highly under powered, meaning for your buck Ichibe is the best partner hands down vanguard wise, I can't argue there, but overall TSI still takes the cake as far as I care.
That being said in the truth of the matter, it's still an opinion, based off what 1 person says, as it would be the same regardless, both are top tier vanguards.

Again, that's a matter of opinion. Demon doesn't crush TSI skill wise, Demon is another high tier vanguard, but honestly he's the same price as Ichibe basically, so Ichibe all the way there.

Yes, sirnibbles Starrk is the best free vanguard, but I'll pass on him thanks.

I'm not speaking from experience being I'm newer to the game, I have read up on each partner for the most part though, and am speaking mostly from my own opinion, so honestly it's like anything everyone will have their own individual opinion, I have mine, you have yours, and sirnibbles has his, as will everyone else.

Yes. It is the matter of opinion.... of pretty much all of the best players in this game.

TSI the best vg?  for what purpose does this best vg serve?  Damage, Tanking ability, partner buffs?  I'd take a demon, a shura, or ichibel any day of the week for both of those regards.
