Because you get higher benefits for having the rank. It's only fair. I'm Capt 3 and costs me 7k prestige a day to hold. Mugetsu cost more than you can even earn a day without spending a ton of gold.

i mean bfore im 4th LT then reward be reset then i take my 13k prestig after i got rank 4th CAP then after the ryoka event i Disconnect then il come refresh after back they gone 13k prestig and again go back to 4th LT

It did not just vanish. After server reset you got docked 6k prestige and lost rank. That is why you lost rank. You did not magically get reverted alone or whatever theory you got going on.

Because everything 5th Captain and up takes a daily deduction of prestige to keep, that's the way the game was made.
