Well, Hisagi is probably better for PvP. Unquestionably he does a lot more damage. Disarm + Fury reduction makes WAY WAY more sense then Disarm + Silence. Hisagi can take you off of 100 fury and make you unable to attack, where as Kensei is usually going to make you not do one or the other, and if you got the wrong debuff on the wrong character, Kensei didn't do much of anything. If Hisagi procs, he is always doing something + More damage.

So, if you were topping up anyway and getting him for free, then he is probably worth it? But he is only a marginal increase over Kensei in PvP, and Kensei in PvP isn't all that spectactular as it stands, and Kensei is a million times better in PvE then Hisagi.

Basically, I wouldn't go out of your way for him.

Well, He isn't for sale yet. This is a free character with top up. The last 20k Ulti Charge character, Oetsu, sold for 6k.

Hisagi is worth 6k. He is better then people give in credit for.

I'd say he's worth 6k. He does massive damage with his bonds/mods as well. People were just expecting the second coming of Jesus because of all of the other partners we've been getting lately.

Fully agreed. His mods and talent are some of the best damage dealing ones in the game. Having only a 125% isn't that bad when you have a natural 40% damage rate. Plus, his skill is pretty cool looking.

That being said, not sure I want to invest 20k gold into his mods to get him to the point where he becomes good. Though, with how the last 2 advance modify events went, Hisagi is like a 99% favorite to be on the next list, so makes that a lot cheaper/easier.

Kensei and BRenji are 12k gold. Hisagi is free / likely to be 6k gold for sale / likely to be 6k points in christmas event, like Oetsu was 6k points in Thanksgiving which was historically one of the best value buys in the games history.

As for what I would spend the "rest" of my gold on, I don't think you understand that Hisagi is FREE when you top up 20k. I would have all of my gold still. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND not topping up 20k until the last day of Ultimate Charge. This allows you to see what Christmas events will be. If Christmas is a Top up related event ( like Halloween was ), then you might wanna wait. If It was a buy related event ( like Thanksgiving ), you may get more pure gold out of Ultimate charge depending on positioning.

I would certainly mod him to 4 if his mods came in a event where they are 20g a piece. In turntable, they are 36 gold each on average, so it isn't worth doing there. His 6th mod is one of teh better damage mods in the game as well. Reducing all enemy immune rates by 10%, means EACH of your characters is doing increased damage across the board to everyone.

I suppose it just depends on what you want to do, and what you currently have. But if you are wanting to top up at least 20k, he is not a bad partner to grab for free.
