If you want to use vanguard for ryoka you would prob want kenpatchi, if not then its not best choice to use vanguard at all. But yeah, Ichigo would perform better in events, but only in events, at least atttack wise.

1-3-1...  go with Hollow Ichi,  you already have your assaulter stones split between 3 people,  you would probably have to cannibalize them for Starrk, making a god vang, yet a squishy middle row...  if you have plenty of stones, forget this.  but you will for sure what to have Starrk with the best of your best of everything if you want him to be #godstarrk.  and if you aren't willing to do that, Hollow Ichi is probably your better choice

I had both at one point and between the both of them I found Hollowed Ichigo better for my team(which is a 1-2-2) and I really didn't have the stones or zan to fully utilize Starrk. it really depends on what your aiming for in your formation

Picking the right VG depends heavily on your build...

Personally, I think Starrk is overrated a lot, since for him to become useful, you need to have a VG based zanpakuto and at least decent gear (120% atk and at best +-0% dmg modifier), and he has no huge survivability of his own.

Hollowed Ichigo has decent mods, and especially his last mod (12% Avoid Injury) is very handy for F2P Players, as you can mix sets and give him a lot of avoid injury, in combination with his health gain on skill and aid rate to assaults, he makes the team noticable more durable. But that Aid rate can backfire... against "attack all" enemies.

If you have the VIP level for him, SWP Kenji is the (imo only) way to go.

IMO for F2P players, Saijin is worth keeping around for longer, since evo+mod+talent make him fairly durable, even tough his stats/growth aren't impressive.


To put it short:
If you're F2P/too low for SWP Kenny VIP and get Senbonsakura from UBP, Starrk might be your ideal choice.
Same with Hyorin, then IMO you might be better off with Hollowed Ichigo.

Outside of that, I think Sajin would do just about as well...
