I dunno, having 55% block rate on everyone could be pretty sweet with Mayuri + Mugetsu ( minus the 90% block/breakdef ).

Even then, most teams aren't just straight damage. Oetsu/Hiki both have massive control effects, etc. Stuff you cannot block. Ultima Aizen. Tenjiro, etc. These are all things that you see very often now adays.

It isn't worth the gold to get mayuri, and mod him out, only for him to be extremely narrowly useful. He is garbage in PvE, he is Garbage in most PvP situations.

The only point in which he is good, realistically, is when you are already a favorite to win a PvP fight, and if you are already a favorite, spend that gold on some stones instead. You are likely to get far better results. He's basically Ryuuken.
