Just checked with mine, and yeah he's still giving the same buff as always to assaulters and vanguard.

I've used him occasionaly when I was doing something purely assaulter oriented lol. And when I eventually make a video using Ichibei I'll probably use senbon for that one too since there's no better zan for vanguards right now lol.
