Just because i don't have both doesn't mean my opinion is automatically invalid. If you have both (which i'm supposing you do) how come you dont know that R2 makes more damage by default?

Let's say Yama and R2 both full evo and Mod. And let's say Yama got better base stats and growth rate so with same gear Yama got 100k phys attack R2 got 90k phys attack. And with evo's phys attack Yama get 23k phys attack and R2 get 14k phys attack. So that makes Yama 123k phys attack and R2 104k phys attack. Yama hits 184.5k with 150% skill growth and R2 hits 176.8k with 170% skill growth. So now let's add up mod on it. Yama got 8% attack from mod so 184.5k + 14.76k = 199.26k, R2 got 12% attack from mod so 176.8k + 21.216k = 198.016k. Now let's add up evo on it. Yama get 21.35% damage rate from his lv11 evo 199.26k + 42.54201k = 241802, R2 get 12.5% damage rate from his lv11 evo 198.016k + 24.752k = 222768. With same gear and stuff Yama can do 19k more damage.

I liked how you referred in the beginning the growth rate but then by the end you didn't even put in consideration. Anyway let's assume your calculations are correct (because im to lazy to check) are you telling me that Yama with 241802 damage and only 150% grow rate is better than R2 with 222768 damage and 170% grow rate?

That 150% and 170% are in the Calculation. Ok now let's not consider base stats and growth rate. Both got 100k phys atk. Yama get 23k R2 get 14k from evo. 123k and 114k. Yama skills 150% so 123k*1.5 = 184.5k, and R2 skills 170% 114k*1.7 = 193.8k.Yama's damage on skill is 241802. Now let's calculate R2's damage on skill.  12% of 193.8k = 23.256k so 193.8 + 23.256 = 217056. 12.5% damage rate from evo equals 217056*0.125 = 27132. So it's total of 244188. So as I said I didn't calculate base stats and growth rate in this calculation.

241802 and 222768 were skill damage not the phys attack.

So if you didn't calculate base on the grow rates then your over all statement is invalid because grow rate is a determinant factor. By your logic a partner with 60% grow rate but better attack then should be better that one with 120% grow rate but lower attack XD
Also R2 as 15% more critical damage that yama ^^ just throwing it out there

By growth rate I mean str growth rate. Yama got better str growth rate. So despite that I made their damage the same. Even then the damage difference is 2.3k or something. So if I consider Yama's base stats and str growth rate he'll do more damage then R2. Are you that silly or something? Can't you see that my calculation is showing the damage of their skill?

Maybe secreatly Harri is the character that does more damage on the game because by your logic growth rate doesnt matter when we talking about damage
