Ok.....so I saw Kosmo, BWG, Assassin post among others, so I thought I would chime in. #UBPprophet
First off....I've been on this server for over a year. Once upon a time server #70 was a peaceful and fun server. I've been playing with Someya on the same server for nearly 2 years, long before these other fuktards came along. Someya has relatively been #1 or #2, since I been playing with him, likewise I've been in and out of the top 3 myself (right now I sit around #4, sometimes #3).
Then about a year ago we went through a merge (one of several) but one in specific merged my server with a server that contains the guild Sword of Omens and Five Rings.
Sword of Omens consists of basically 1 entire family (plus a few other members). General Zod (aka Krunk) is the dad, Thunkderkat is the mom, Splitter is a kid, and I think they have 2-3 other kids that play. To be honest, their entire guild is one big alt family, as they all have played each other characters/accounts at some point, even if they deny it, or at least the parents have all played the kids accounts. From day one I didn't get along with this guild, although that was mostly due to the dad, Krunk, being plain fucking retarded. He goes on random rants and raves about alts and this and that. One time I think I cursed at his kid, used the word hell or damn or something and he threatened to have a GM ban my account because he personally knows the GMs and skype calls them sometimes. Then there was the time that he acused this other lvl 100+ player as being my alt that had been playing with me since the server opened nearly (we use to laugh hysterically about world chat in FB chat). But, like most sensible people, I didn't give a shit at his nerd raging and shrugged it off, think I mighta blocked em too. After awhile he got off that tangent and went back to harassing others, we even managed to have quite a few decent conversations about the game and strategies, since we are both top ranked players. Make no mistake, hes not bad at the game, he seems to be fairly intelligent when it comes to strategy, though his primary strategy is the mighty credit card, but hey I don't fault him or anyone for that (I'm VIP myself and its thanks to ppl like him and me that the servers remain online).
But I digress, I'm getting off topic a bit here and more on a personal rant.
So now Five Rings. Five Rings consist of quite a few different players, including the guy who broke the dads arena win streak the other day (which is actually what prompted this post). I'm pretty sure they do play some alt accounts, maybe they don't, but to be honest I don't care. Just like I don't really care if Zod/Thunderkat play their kids account, or if their kids are even all real....i really dont care about peoples alts. To be honest, I have over 300 alts on my server alone, everyone of them named "Meekrat" with a # after it, back from a valentines day event that was cross-server wide and if you clicked free roses it got server points which resulted in some free gifts for entire server. None of my alts are like lvl 50+ or anything, all of them but 1 is lvl 1 actually. But, I got nothing against someone who plays a alt. Sure it can kinda fubar Ryoka up a bit, but to be honest if someone took the time to lvl up a VIP0 alt far enough to get kills in Ryoka, more power to them!
Ok, im dragging this post out longer then it needs to be, so I'm going to try to wrap it up. So for the last 8 months or so, Sword of Omens has been bitching in world chat NONE STOP about 5 rings and their alts and their bullying.
Sword of Omens is full of shit. Their kids are annoying as fuck. General Zod/Krunk is arrogant as fuck. The only half decent one in their 'family' is Thunderkat, and even she has made my block list more then once, because of the non-stop complaining in world chat about alts and bullying. No one bullies their kids, their kids are annoying as fuck, talk non-stop shit and ppl return the favor. And just for the record, I'm the guild leader of a top guild on the server, neither of which is SoO or 5 Rings, so I am independant from sides here. I didn't know either guild before the merge or any of the players.
I just wanted to clarify, this Splitter person is not bullied, hes talks trash which garners him hatred from others. His parents exasberate the issue by also talking trash, and their dad constantly threatens people, I won't even bother listing how, because its just dumb. Lets get real for a second here, there is relatively nothing you can do to harm people in Bleach. Sure you can boot em outa a tower, or you can try to snipe them in GW, or slave them from arena, but least be real here, none of that fucking matters. People who threaten people in this game are just morons with nerd rage problems.
Ok, not really sure what I wanted to accomplish with this post, other then to rant a bit, considering I've been having to tolerate this nonsense for over a year now and I see our server drama has finally spilled over to the forums. This was like the one place I could go to get away from the retardness of my server, and have somewhat intelligant conversations with people and discuss the game without hearing about "zomgz you cheaters on ur alts again, ima digitally punch you in the face if you dont stop" x1000000 every day. Matter of fact I'm sure this will piss a few people off at me, but hey, there is very little that can be done about it and I simply don't give a shit. Also, it is nice being #3 or #4, so not many people can relatively do anything to me.
I think I have Someya on block atm too because he pissed me off around Christmas. Matter of fact, most people piss me off but thats because I have a very low tolerance for stupidity, and stupidity is in abundance on our server. I think I have 2/3 of the active player base on ignore. To be honest, I've put some 5 rings on ignore only because after I put SoO on ignore, I'd have to hear 5 rings rant and bitch to what seemed like themselves and that got on my nerves. I pretty much think everyone but myself is a idiot on my server, minus a few people. Heck I think I have a few of my own guild members on ignore.
Ok, done ranting. For what its worth, I've been posting on here for nearly 2 years, I've made a ton of really good, thoughtful posts and contributed to our community with data and advice to other players, so I feel I was entitled this one time to go on a completely worthless self-serving rant. Too all the other veteran forum goes who might read this - forgive me and plz dont tell the cat! So I'll end with, ignore this thread, this is a buncha drama bullshit, no one is bullied, everyone are just cry baby idiots, most of the shit posted in this thread is so far from the truth and is one-sided opinions, probably on both sides, and I wish they would all go play in traffic or on train tracks and stop wasting pixils on my monitor, so that I could be spending reading about BWG's awesomeness, starring at Kosmo's avatar, hiding from the cat, or fearing the AssassinRPG.
