Comparing your insanely geeked out Yama to a crappy person's Zero squad is a bad comparison.  You'd beat that person regardless.

But you'll never compete on speed with anyone even remotely competent who has a zero squad with your yama.

Geeked out = Maxed out.

No Yama should be anywhere close to any Zero squad unless it's like a 3 mill BP person compared to a 1.5 mil BP person.  

Yama simply has horrid speed and if you had him at 400k spd you'd have Kiri at 600k spd or there abouts.

lol I see well that's not how it is on my server but no one has speed like that on my server yet except mages
everyone else is around 100K-200K

You seem to be missing the point.

If you have 80k spd on Yama Kiri would have 100-110k spd.

Whatever spd yama has, kiri would have dramatically more all else equal.

And whoever goes first has the best chance to win, so picking a slow partner as your best partner is a good way to lose every fight as you advance through the game.
When I was at 1 mil BP I thought just like you did... I am doing really well with Sexy Yoru as my fastest partner.  I beat most everyone, people are just being nit-picky about speed because they're uber high end players.  Then I got to 1.5 mil bp and I started losing more and more fights with Sexy as my fastest.... by 2 mil BP I had to switch over to Kiri as my fastest.  Now at 3 mil BP it's 100% about who goes first.  If I go first I can beat people 1 mil bp stronger than me.  But I lose to a guildy who is 600k bp lower because he has Hiki and some lvl 12 stones and a lvl 10 tier 11 agi hogu making her 40-50k spd faster than me.  If I get 2-3 more stones and my Gin mod soul I might just catch him then i'll beat him almost always again.

You need to accept that no matter how much you think you can find ways to win without max speed, you won't be able to just a little ways down the line.  So the more time you waste not maxing out agi/spd now, the further behind you'll be when you finally accept how important it is.

yeah lol I was always told speed is important and right now my yamas my fastest because I have no partners who have better speed then him
I'm putting as much speed as I can on him
and I'm trying to get the gin mod soul too
I'm done with goku and my batman is level 24/80 so itll take me awhile
how far are you?
