Oh okay. That's great then. It would suck if it didn't work. Kind of takes away from the fun otherwise.
I was told once the target's defense is applied to the attacker's attack before attack/dmg multipliers (skill growth, dmg rate, etc.) are applied, and that seems to be the case so far from what I've witnessed. In other words, total damage to a target = (attacker's base attack - target's defense) * dmg rate * other multipliers...
So, yeah if their kido defense is that small, it really won't make much difference in total damage taken.
That would also mean that, no matter how high your enemy's skill growth rate is, if your defense is higher than their base attack, completely nullified.
I would love to see what would happen with more kido defense on the assaulters. Sounds like a good counter to certain situations. |
