block is there for pve as i switch in C Orihime for Tenjiro.  And no crit because I ran out of slots for stones on his equipment

Isn't Crit more important than block though?
Block is in my opinion only for Vanguards and Mayuri as it doesnt really have a major benefit to have it on an assaulter.
All block does is that it counterattacks sometimes if your opponents Brk Def isn't high enough, while crit increases the chance to crit, while when you crit you do tonnes of damage on top of standard damage^^

IMO it is way better to have crit over block on all but vg <3

that statement is wrong with high enough block you can go 0-3-2 formation and depending on your assaulters you can probably get into the high ryoka waves since your ass can take a little more of a beating and if you run a heal system like issane or w/e her name is you'd last till they do special move

That's only if you have shura
high lvl es and ryoka have high b-def rate
my es is lvl 140+ and I can varely blick it with 70% block rate on both my Assaulters
pure damage is far superior to block dmg

for Evil Spirit and all of Ryoka, I can stay in a 0-3-2 formation as all 3 assaulters block most every hit with Cute Orihime in the back row.  They counter attack like crazy and let me one shot 2 rounds further (current 55) and last 4 rounds even on round 70 (we get to 72, so I just leave them in)

Well, i put all my block on soph to max her out^^

Not a lot of block on assaulters^^
