idk in terms of pure attack on who is stronger, Prob Res Ulq? Just due to skill? the stat differences change that, and similar mods, so idk

But overall i'd say Yama is better

Both are very solid partners.  yama has slightly better stats, one has better evo, one has better mods...

now that yama is given for free and is MUCH easier to get, if you have no progress to get either, yama is at least 10 times faster and easier to get for most people, so that is a big deciding factor...  HOWEVER  that is not to say that rez should be skipped, he's got a bond for noza kenpachi, so even if you get, love, and plan to use yama, if you plan to get noza, you will really want rez ulquorria as well...  if you remove the DOT from the equation, CSB Byaukua trumps both, and Tenjiro has much better DOT than either if i recall correctly...  servers been down for ages, forgetting what the seretei looks like, lol

only Berserk Renji > Shura Kenpachi in PVE, nobody else is even close (level 100 SC Tavern Byaukua extra skill may be the closest you will get)...  believe it, lol

im sure res ulq can do more damage than yama in pve  period due to his fury regain and burn being hi ...

ulqi is far better with full mod stars the 35% crit n damage is awesome belive me hes far better plus 57 fury

Yamma is way better.
First of all anyone (i mean nonVIPs too) can have him.
Second, their skills are similar in attacking everyone part but Yamma's skill extra bonuses are better.
Third... It's way harder (not counting in becoming VIP) to get Resurrection Ulq, because u need to get tooons of Hueco Coins and gold reishi.
So to sum up Yamma is better.
