You get the 1250 split up over 5 days.  I could be wrong if they changed the way it works now, since the amount you get are not the same as they were in previous event cycles.  Before I think it used to be top up 20k and get 5k over 5 days.

I made a character on EU.  It gives physical attack, kido attack and speed at a higher base than Katen and more per level.
